Hi,
I just installed DSL and it gave me a knoppix style install with hw-autoconfig and creation of fstab at bootup.
Is a debian style install possible or should I just add nofstab to lilo and edit knoppix-hd-autoconfig (or whatever it's called here) to skip autoconfiguration?

hi,
i've got the same problem. but i think kanotix is not good for me because i use a industrial touchpanel with a cf card (266Mhz, 128MB Ram, 512MB cf card)
I habe a swap partition of 100mb an a system partition of about 400 mb.
i checked the knoppix-autoconfig script but its hard to get the hw-autoconfig out of it without destroying everything ;)
