Ok. I have Win95 on my laptop and I have the files from the DSL cd on there too, but I have no cd drive or internet connection and I was wondering how I can get DSL to boot now that it is on the hard drive. I was also wondering how to get it to dual boot between win95 and DSL. Thanks for your help!

1) Extract the files inside the *.iso file using a program like winiso.

In the end, you should have a directory and file that looks like this:

C:\knoppix\knoppix

2) Download the rawrite32 program and download the DSL boot floppy image from the DSL download page.  The use rawrite32 to create a boot floppy.

3) Insert the newly made floppy into your drive and reboot.

Good Luck.

Thanks. I'll try it tonight. I already have the iso extracted. The boot floppy part is what I need to do. Thanks again.
