ok, starting off with a 100MHz proc, 3 hds (2gb, 800mb, & 500mb) 24mb ram. it has a working cdrom, and bios changed to allow cd booting, yet every time i try to boot from cd, it hangs on a blinking cursor at the upper left corner of the screen.
and trying to make a boot floppy with oldbios.exe gives me <disk error on track x, head 0> over and over again, sometimes when i click retry it works for a few tracks but so far i havent gotten it to finish. and when i use rawwrite.exe, it gives me a bad sector error... im using virgin floppies, so to me its doubtful they are bad.
is it possible to just install from the cd in windows since i currently have 3 hds? any help would be nice.

Thanks in advance,
MasterNub

ok well luckily i have a few hundred floppies lying around from some old emo rig we had set up. so i just went through and kept formatting and tossing them as they failed. eventually i got one to work, and when i rebooted... BLAM! into DSL (: its kinda ugly on this old clunker... but 987345 times more pretty than windoze (; thank you DSL for making my p-90 useful again!!!
