Hi, I have a computer with Windows 98 SE and I want to replace Windows completely. Along with that I'm getting a live cd and just letting DSL install on my system without partitioning the hard disk. I have all my personal files off, but if I install DSL to the hard drive, will it autodetect the sound, video, and network cards, or do I need to do something with my system? My system specs are 566Mhz Intel Celeron, a 6.98 GB hard drive, and a 40x cd-rom drive.

P.S. Will it work with my internal modem?
Thanks!  :D

DSL uses Knoppix for hardware detection, it does a very good job detecting all kinds of stuff, but from time to time, one is bound to encounter some obscure piece of hardware that might or might not work with DSL or Linux altogether.
When you boot from the cd, does it detect everything correctly?
