this is probably not directly related to this hd install forum
although it's the closeset to kernel related issues :)

dsl is working great, im trying to get my Edimax EW-7106PC which uses an RTL8180 (realtek) chipset and the source modules require kernel sources/include files which obviousely i don't have since dsl is uhm... small :)

how am i fetching my correct kernel sources the right way?
uname -a ouputs 2.4.26 for kernel version.

thanks guys.

liran, I've had good luck getting drivers and modules compile using the kernelsource.dsl package from the < System section of the repository >.  It's just the headers, but many times that's enough.

a whole lot of thanks.
it compiled it smoothly although my edimax 7106pc rtl8180 chipset wlan card is still not working for some reason.

though as far as it goes for dsl, its cool :)

thanks again.
