well, I've recently installed the dsl in my hd, but..I have a winmodem, and to install it, I need to do a "make install", but it tells me: command not found, so what I have to do is to install the package "make", but..what a shit! to intall the package "make" I need to do "make install", and i can't!! I would be very please if you can help me. I can't do anything, winmodem..make..apt..nothing..

I may be wrong but I believe that the gcc1.dsl extension would give you that ability.

You can find it by using the menu apps->tools->myDSL Browser and selecting System. If you cannot access the internet from that computer you can download it from here< http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub....m > Once you get it onto your computer you can go into Emelfm and highlight it by clicking on it and than clicking the 'mydsl' button. You could first try searching for the library via apt-get. Sometimes these missing library dependency issues can be hard to work out, though.
