I have now set the first AND second partition to PRIMARY. The error bu hd/install after is the same. When i type mkswap /dev/hda1[&i] is ok. when i type [i]swapon /dev/hda1 the error is: device or ressource busy What can I do ?? Posted by //a4 on Aug. 05 2005,19:31
Ok, i have found the error...i have delete my running system (while have delete/create partitions) So i have start a new install where i have better deliberate and a better HD config. Now runs on my old Hardware from HD. Im being pleased with the OS (for the first Days;) --------------------------------------------------------- QUESTION: How can i attach a unused partition to my existing Linux Partition?
i have used this (now unused) partition for image to install (liveCD). Please Help to rescue my little space. |
