Burn the iso as an image file. I have no idea how Nero sets things up, just make sure it burns as an image file.

Burning at 24x is a good way to make coasters, I burn at 4x, I mean it's a 50 meg iso, how long can it take.

Depending on which version of Nero you have... with my version5, it's "File / Burn Image", change the dropdown from ".nrg" to "all files", then select the .iso file and burn, preferably at a lower rate (as roadie said, 4x is pretty fool-proof, and doesn't take very long).  Oh, and the dilogue box that comes up with all these weird variables etc., I just leave those how they defaulted and click OK...

The key is "burn image".  The iso is an IMAGE file, don't try to burn it as a file itself, as it won't work / boot.

With nero you go file>burn image then the box pops up and you just select the iso and then hit write. And I burn at 48x

are you using winXP?

if so, download the ISO Recorded Powertoy from < here >.

its not officially supported by M$ but it works just great. just right-click the image file and click "Copy Image to CD". easy as that.

oh, and if you aren't using winXP, don't try to install it. it WILL kill your windows install completely, every time. as in, have your install CD handy if you do try.

If your using windows to burn, just grab a copy of the free nero trial. Install and use file>burn image.
