OK, I am repeatedly getting a strange lockup.  This is a Compaq Presario 9240 P 133, 48 MB Ram and a 6 Gig hard drive, a Linux-happy 56K modem.  Dual booting DSL 0.7 (dsl-hdinstall) and Win98.  That is the good part.

When I try dpkg-restore it goes fine until 4$ into downloading the Packages then the computer totally locks up.  I also tried the Enhanced hdinstall and get the same lockup.

Is anyone else having this trouble or is it my junk or my technique?
