no boot screen

when i attempt to install it to /dev/hda1 it will install and when it finishes it askes me if i want to run mklilo. it will come up with waring that somethign could not be found but secussifully installs. i installed mandrake and the bootmanager didnt come up either. is there something special io have to do to get to the boot screen.

im not sure, but if your installing to /dev/hda1, you dont have another partition u wish to boot onto, and u dont need lilo.

I suggest, before u run dsl-hdinstall, you run:

sudo -u root cfdisk

from here you can set hda1 to Bootable.

After installing dsl, dont run mklilo. When you reboot it should boot straight into dsl.
