hello evrybody i'm using dsl 0.7.3 with loadlin in a small hard disk (80Mb)
since the live cd of 0.7.3 boots directly assuming a default conf in Xsetup
with loadlin i always prompted to configure it

i would like to boot directly with default conf but i cannot pass any parameter from loadlin because don't exist (dsl default) or something like that

if anybody knows how can i boot directly in this way....?

another way is import the boot options from 0.7.2 and pass the parameter trough loadlin, but i don't know where are stored

thanks danini

The only way I have gotten loadlin to work on a /knoppix placed in a small hard drive partition is to use Windows 98, start with "F8", choice 6, and then run a batch file for loadlin. With a small (and possibly old and slow) 80 mb hard drive, you will probably have to use a boot floppy to access your
/knoppix on the hard drive.

thanks but your reponse don't solve my problem
i' have already running my dsl in a 80Mb hard disk (slower than a conventional hard disk but faster than a cd, and better u cand find it in the trash ;-)),  i have a bat file that call loadlin and i don't need to use F8,,
my hd boot directly with dsl and i don't need to do nothing ,,,

so my problem is:
i'm always prompted to the xsetup, to configure my screen
and is that step that i would like to don't see,
and my question is how can i do that

this version of dsl 0.7.3 boot directly with a xsetup configuration in the version cd

thanks for your time
