Is it possible to have more than one KNOPPIX folders on a CD, each named according to version, and have the floppy boot image know exactly which folder to open for the boot image?  It is certainly an inconvenience to use a different CD for every new version of this distro when it is so small & the versions change so rapidly.  Just a brainchild of mine since it is non-upgradeable.

I am burning ISOs all the time, so I use CD-RWs for all my testing.

Check out Tjabo Kloppenburg article:

John - you don't need to use CD-RWs. Just get KNOPPIX/boot.img, place on a floppy, place KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX on a hard drive partition, and when you boot the floppy it'll automatically find the KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX cloop filesystem.

Yeah I suppose, but I have my cloop sitting in a very unstandard place + I usually don't want to shut down my work computer because I have all kinds of other things going on.  I usually do testing from the CD and then do an install and go hunting for bugs.  For the record, the new ISOs are usually tested first on a five year old 366is Emachine.
