Hi,

i have a qwertz keyboard and would like to use german configuration.

Upon running DSL panel and setting things properly via kbdconfig to use the de keymap, nothing is changed. Starting a new console or an editor, and i still get a y if i type a z, and the keys like / are & instead.

Is there another way to change this setting?

I have installed latest DSL on my HD.

make a note of the code for your correct keys, press ctrl alt and backspace to exit x enter command loadkeys then the relevant code then startx and your keyboard will be correctly configured.There is a way to save this configuration search the forums for keys and you will find the post :laugh:
