OK, this is my problem... To launch DSL properly, I have to run a batch file, Which due to a security polocy, are not allowed. Is it possible to get around this? Any ideas/suggestions are apreciated.

PS - I Love DSL! I've been using it for about a week now, and I am very happy with it! Keep up the good work!

The .bat file is just a bunch of commands that run from the command line...

If you can get to the command line..you can "manually" enter the lines from the .bat file...

However messing with school computers by tweaking and whatnot might get you into trouble..most network admins take people screwing with thier hardware/software in a bad way

Just to let ya know bud

I don't have access to the command prompt... (And don't worry about me getting in trouble, Our sys admin is pretty incompetent)

what .bat file is this? is it for an emulator?

sounds like a stupid policy, its probably possible to write a program that will execute the lines of a batch file using the system() function...or something else
