I have a HP Pavilion 500MHZ laptop with DSL 2.0 and I am having problems with the volume. It works but it is really low and hard to hear. With windows 98 it used to be loud but after I formatted it and installed DSL 2.0 to the HD the sound can hardly be heard. Can anyone please help me with this? Also, does anyone know what program I can use to listen to streaming audio with the "mms" protocol and "wax" files? Please help. Posted by cbagger01 on Jan. 22 2006,19:22
There are multiple volume controls inside the mixer. You may need to increase volume for the master and also for the PCM/wav volume levels. mplayer should play mms, although you may need to install the codecpak. I dunno about wax |
