I have tried this, and get no plug in found.
i have downloaded the flash install and have managed to uncompress it and the readme says to type './flashplayer-install' when i do this, the computer freezes. there is also an option to copy the files to the firefox plug in directory. i can find the firefox executable in /usr/bin/firefox but cannot find the plug in folder.  help???

Won't work. :(

I have tried to change owner and made it executable, but still no result.
