Hi all, my first post :). Sry for my bad english (im living in finland :P)
But i have problem whit my Dell latidute cpi (sound chip are Cirrus logic sound card cs4237B). I have installed alsadeb.dls but i dont know how i can configure it, there is on "mydls list" only ALSA install choice. How i can start config in root or config it whitout wizard etc. I have cheked that linux supports that sound cart and i hope that i can use it :).

According to this guy, he got his cs4237 working with the base DSL system (no alsa required):

He opened a terminal window and typed in:

sudo su
modprobe cs4232 io=0x530 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0
exit
exit

and then sound was working.  You may need to change some of the IO settings if your soundcard is not configured in your BIOS to use the same settings, IE: io address 0x530, interrupt 5, first dma 1, 2nd dma 0

Not working. I find alsa options:
options snd-cs4236 snd_index=0 snd_port=0x530 snd_cport=0x538 snd_isapnp=0 snd_dma1=1 snd_dma2=0 snd_irq=5

But where i put this options?
Im losing my mind, on saturday i started to testing some distros and all have some problems :(
