Am i missing something, can someone suggest something that might work. also in firefox it saids (click here for plugin) like i don't have it. Posted by kerry on May 18 2006,04:58

You may try < mplayer.dsl > and codecpak.dslIt works for me on mms protocol with wma and wmv channels. Posted by Pyro on May 18 2006,08:45
i have the mplayer as well the mplayer plugin, the codec files, i also copied the plugin files from opt/ firefox/ plugin file folder to the usr/ local/ firefox/ plugins folder but nothing works. Sorry i didn't state this clearly in the first post. Firefox seems to not see the plugin. The mplayer works fine it plays wmv. wma. and all the other formats it supports.Ii just can't seem get the plugin to work so i can see the video in firefox without having to saving the video first or finding the url for the video and then opening it in mplayer.
