mount music cdForum: Multimedia Topic: mount music cd started by: Uta Posted by Uta on Aug. 20 2006,22:50
When I try to mount a music cd (I have installed DSL on my HD) I get the error message, "mount: you must specify the filesystem type"Perhaps my fstab is not set up correctly? /dev/cdrom /mnt/auto/cdrom auto defaults,ro,user, exec, noauto 0 0 I can mount a data cd just fine. How to mount and play a music cd? Thanks Posted by mikshaw on Aug. 21 2006,05:21
You don't mount music CDs, unless they are mp3/ogg.Just use the command "xmms /dev/cdrom", or select the "Xmms Play CD" menu item. Posted by Uta on Aug. 21 2006,16:34
