I am having loads of trouble working XMMS.  When I try to play music, it plays way too fast.  I tried looking at the configuration options offered by XMMS but none helped.  

To complicate matters, I still can't get the machine on the net...so until I do that, I can try and download any other programs.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
