Howdy Folks.  I'm rehabing an old P166MMX for the sole purpose of dishing up Mp3 files and to manage content on my Sansa c250 Mp3 player.  My first problem came up when I couldn't find my connected mp3 player in DSL.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance

USB?
You can probably
ls /mnt/sd*
mount /mnt/sdXx

If your USB port works, hotplug should set a mount point for your USB devices in /mnt. It does this sequentially: sda1, sdb1, sdc1, etc. Your mp3 player will be the most recent device you've plugged in. You should be able to see these using emelfm and then right click on mount points to mount them. Don't forget to unmount (same way, right click and unmount) before removing or unplugging the device.

Thanks a bunch guys.  I'll give it a go.  I just dug up an old couple of hard drives and I'm thinking full blown file server, if things go well
