Is there a uci version of gimp1.2.dsl or can I convert it?
I know there is dsl2unc.sh to make a unc version but I prefer uci.

No, you can't convert. It needs to be compiled/linked with a prefix in /opt. Now compiling gimp-1.2.5.uci on another computer. It's going to take a while and I have a busy schedule the rest of this afternoon and tonight. I'll probably send it to extensions some time tomorrow (Friday).

Thanks lucky13. Will watch for it.

There is a gimp-2.4.uci in testing (40mb) that includes the necessary Gtk2 libs, but requires cairo-1.2.uci (also in testing)

It finished compiling earlier than expected and I even had time to quickly test it. I just submitted gimp-1.2.5.uci. Should be in testing as soon as Robert gets to it.

Edit: 40 MB? Mine is about 14 and doesn't need cairo. :-P

It apparently includes the necessary Gtk2 libs, so you don't need to bog down your system with gtk2*.dsl

Thanks lucky13.
Just downloaded gimp-1.2.5.uci from Testing.
Seems to be working just fine.

I wasn't dissing it. I also wanted a GTK1 UCI version for my USB(-HDD) stick and because, if I'm correctly reading Robert's concept for the 2.6 version as being more modular, I think more of the GTK1 dsl extensions could (or should) probably be recompiled as UCIs. Especially if UNC is deprecated and users want extensions that don't clog RAM.
