flash probs need help

Okay so i installed my flash plugin and all but when i play a flash video the video runs fine but the sound is all screwed up and laggish and i need to know if this a problem other people are having or is it something else

I'm gonna climb out on a limb and say it ain't DSL's fault.  The Macromedia Flash plugin for Linux has always been rather poor, particularly with keeping audio and video in sync.  Version 7 has improved, but it's still far behind the performance you'd get with the Windows version.

However, a lot of it may be your processor.  Flash is a CPU hog, and the slower your processor the worse it will perform.  A lot of the Flash stuff developed these days will barely run on anything less than 400-500mhz

well my system is fine my proc is like 1500+ and i have 256mb ram yeah i'm just using DSL as my first linux version and so far i love it but yeah i thought it might be the flash plugin and i know its not my comp cuz i have windows xp also and flash runs super awesome on there the video runs fine but the sound is screwed i thoght it might be my sound card drivers not working with linux or something which was gonna be what i thought it would of been had it not been the flash plugin
