i am having trouble with my sound card what i originnally thought was a flash problem i think may be my sound card. when i run the sound configuration at the end it says

The VIA TechnologiesIVT8233 [AC97 Audio Controller] is not currently supported

is there any way to get this to work without putting in another sound card?

Try alsadebs.dsl extension?

Check the myDSL repository for more info, or seach the forums for keyword "alsa" and ALL FORUMS and FROM THE BEGINNING or NEWER
