Ok after not being able to get the wcp11 card working I decided to buy a new card and see if that helped. To my dismay my new belkin f5d7010 wireless card didnt work either.

Ive read every wiki, faq's, howto's, even asked here and still cant get a wirless card working so I give up! :O

My question now is can I connect to the internet through my laptops usb port? My wireless router/gateway supports a usb port with its ethernet and wireless ability. Ive connected it via windows and it works fine.

So in short, can it be done and if so how might I go about it?

Thanks for any and all help. This is my last resort before giving up on linux.

Boot up DSL.

Open a terminal window and type:

sudo su
modprobe CDCEther
netcardconfig
exit
exit

Note the UPPERCASE letters in  "CDCEther"
