I was hoping to get some help setting up wifi with DSL.
I have a Dell 600m, running DSL off of a usb thumbdrive. My wifir card is an Intel 2200bg card. According to the wiki site this card might/should work with ndiswrapper.
I am super new to Linux, so please forgive my dumbness.

I run wlcardconfig, and get an error "No wireless network card found"
Being a novice to Linux, I'm not sure if this refers to DSL not seeing my card, or just a configuration issus.

Since I have no idea on how I would get DSL to recognize my my wifi card...

so I went with the ndiswrapper.

lan card: /mnt/hda2/dell/drivers/r107434/drivers/w29n51.inf
device name: wlan0
sid: my networks ssid
wep: my 64 bit wep key

Maybe it won't work, but I would appreciate any help, or ideas that anybody else has.

Here is a follow-up question, as nobody so far has had any advice for using NDISwrapper.
Intel has a linux driver for the 2200bg card (ipw2200_linux_1_0_0.tgz) but I have no idea how I would install this with DSL.

Any recommendations?
