Hey whats up guys.

im new to the forum, and to Linux for that matter.  ive been looking and researching into which Linux distro to use and finally came across DSL so im happy to say that i will be an active forum member and avid DSL user.  but i am very new and dont know much.  im fairly tech oriented so i can figure most problems out.  some i will be asking you guys for.... like this one.

I have an HP Pavilion zd7000 and my Wireless internet card is a Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g and i cant get it to work properly.  i checked the list of cards that people know work and i also read a thread that was on broadcom 57xx wireless network cards but those wont work for me.

Seemingly the biggest move i want to make from simply running DSL is to have an internet connection with it so that i dont have to constantly shutting down and booting up in windows (because i am running both OS' from my laptop and dont have a home PC currently).

any help would be greatly appreciated and i look forward to talking to a lot of you guys in the near future... pending my wireless card can work  :;):

Use the "System Stats" program to get information about your card such as the hardware name and also the PCI vendor Id and device Id.

Then search google for information on this card and Linux.

Or for ndiswrapper support, visit the ndiswrapper website and WIKI
