After crashing all 5 windows pc's in the house i've decided to go linux. I can get knoppix to recognise my serial modem and brouse the net at 56k but so far i havn't been able to get DSL to connect. I tried opening the terminal window and typed in ATZ (enter) ATDT and the number to dial it conected at 9600 and i couldnt get the browser to work ....What am i doing wrong?Thankx Posted by Gilbert Ashley on Jan. 10 2004,21:28
From a terminal run pppconfig to configure your modem. then dial with 'pon' and disconnect with 'poff'
