Just downloaded the madwifi from the MyDSL panel. It downloaded into the /tmp folder. Now what? I clicked on the MyDSL button from Emelfm, but nothing happened.

I'm trying to use/configure the madwifi drivers for use with a 8470-FC wireless card.

I'm lost.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know what version of DSL you are using or which set of madwifi modules you are trying to load because you didn't give that information, but if you are using DSL-2.0 or 2.1b and the modules for that then the instructions are here:

There should also have been some basic instructions in the info panel that popped up before you did the download.

If you are using any other version, then there are already madwifi modules in the kernel, unless you want some extended functions beyond the basic drivers. For more detailed instructions for those you need to go to the madwifi site.

How about the latest version 2.3? The madwifi modules are already included?

I'm not sure what to do next....sorry.
