I have a Belkin 54g 802.11b PCI card in my comp, which i've been trying to get work with Linux. On most distros i've tried (given up with 1 or 2, but 3rd time's the charm :)), ndiswrapper seems to accept my wireless drivers but I can't connect to the internet no matter what I do.

On DSL it's much different. I went into the ndiswrapper dialogue, entered in the driver location, left WEP and SSID blank (my network isn't secure). It locked up my PC for a good 5-10 mins until I reset it.

I saw the Belkin FD**** cards are in the Verified cards page on the Wiki as "Cards that work, but may take some effort". bcmwl5.inf is what is used for the Belkin54g, too. The 56g's Device Name, according to Astra32 on Windows, is "BCM4306".
