Hi, I'd like to startoff by saying this distro is great, definitly a keeper, no bloat, toram.  mmmmm

May I am missing something, as I am relatively new to linux.  I cannot access the internet in DSL.  I have Westell 2100 ADSL modem, no router with Verizon adsl service.  It works in regular Knoppix and Win98 :( Any ideas why?  I've used the pppoe config tool, pon.

The current DSL 0.5.x is based on Knoppix 3.1. So I would suspect the modules you may need may not be in this version. When you say it works on regular Knoppix do you mean v3.3? You may have to wait until the next major release of DSL.  Otherwise if you have your DSL hard drive installed you would have to find and get the needed modules.

I have a similar problem too.
I have used knoppix 3.1 , 3.2 , 3.3
All work with my Accton card and successfully connects to the internet with pppoe
Neither damn small linux, feather linux nor flonix detects it.
It says 'modconf: command not found'
