ADSL Broadband Connection How?

Hello Friends,

I don't know much about networking in linux or to say simply i don't know linux as i know windows.

How can i connect to a adsl modem requireing password over a lan card for broadband connection i booted up the dsl with cool interface but am finding it a little hard to navigate to correct process.

any ideas how can that be achieved.
