Could someone please check if < http://83.92.35.50 > gives access to my webserver, an ancient PII labtop :-) You should see a welcome page from Monkey Web Server

The auto notification will alert me if you reply.

Thank you.

There is a strange thing with DSLPanel and Monkey web server.

When repressing DSLPanel, the button for Monkey is unpressed.

Is DSL closing down at intervals or just when DSLPanel is either closed or activated?

This could be the reason my server stops working.

I connected at 15:00 to a blank screen in Firefox.  Pinging returned all the packets.

Thanks; I found another setting in the router, where I had to allow for open ports; The monkey web server now works here from the job :-D

It wasn't too slow even using 233mHz CPU.

Do you think the server will be faster if it just ran from the CDROM/=RAM?

No page. Is your monkey running?

PING:

Oh and if you guys have spare time please post ping statistics from < my server >.
Also tell me if you can see the animation when accessing there via web browser and the name and version of your browser.

Thanks. :)

Hmmm. I think I found a bug.
I Created a new window and pasted < http://83.92.35.50/ > to the address bar. Then it worked. Same bug appears on my monkey server too. O.o
Maybe it (monkey) get's confused when browser send referer information... As far as I know, browsers won't send such information when user pastes address.

Anyone else noticed the same?

Try pasting palm.zapto.org directly to your brower's address bar. Then it should work.
