I've just recently done a f rugal Grub install of DSL on my HP Pavillion zv6000 laptop.  Nearly everything works great.  The main issue that I'm concerned about right now is that DSL is not recognizing my wireless card.  I've tried following directions on using NDISWRAPPER but I'm not sure I'm doing it right because I've still not had any success.  My WNIC is using a Broadcom chipset, which I've come to find is not one of the easiest pieces of hardware to get working with DSL.  I'm hoping someone can either help me solve this issue, or at the least, help point me in the direction of some online help.  I've tried searching Google, but I haven't come up with much.

I don't know how old your laptop is, but newr WLAN cards are kinda hard to get working.
And DSL is not alone with this kind of problem.
If your laptop is new, I suggest you to buy supported card or just to use some wire. =)

Fisrt try to ifconfig. Look if your card is regonized. Also dmesg | less might help.

You can't get some Broadcom chipsets to work with Linux, even with Ndiswrapper.
