Hello,

I can't seem to get DSL to recognize my network card.  I have a Thinkpad T60 with an Intel Pro/1000 integrated network adapter which should use the e1000 driver included in DSL (or so I understand).  I've tried using the Netcardconfig tool, but it just says there is no network card found.  I then tried "modprobe e1000", "insmod e1000", and variations, to which DSL responds, no such device.

Has anyone gotten this to work either on a Thinkpad or some other machine with the same adapter?  Advice anyone?

Thanks

The "Intel PRO/1000 MT" seems to work off boot.
What's your exact model? (maybe `lspci -v` will help you here)

Windows thinks the adapter is an Intel Pro/1000 PL while DSL thinks it is an unknown device 109a.

Looks like that's a newer chipset that's not supported by DSL's e1000 driver.  You'll probably have to go to the Intel site, download, compile, and test a newer, supported version out.
