Alright here is my situation,

I have an old laptop and a Motorola wireless card with a braodcom 4306.  It will work with ndiswrapper on other distro's so in theory it should work here.

The issue is that until then, I have NO internet access.  The grand old laptop doesn't even have a ethernet port.

Now I realize the amount of possible dependencies ndiswrapper probably has, and infact I don't even know if I can install it without dpkg.  I looked for a myDSL extention but had no luck, at least then I could install it locally via a cd.  Even though this maybe close to impossible, I would like to ask.  Thank you.

ndiswrapper is included in the DSL by default afaik.

Thank you for answering my question.  I had just read that from the < change log >, I should have figured that one out on my own.  Thanks. :D

Now all I need to do is get the right driver into ndiswrapper.  I think I will add it then re-burn the iso.

Can you explain that again?
I have an old laptop (compaq presario 1200) with DSL on it.
Now i want to install a Asus WL-167g usb WLan device.
With ndiswrapper i have already installed the driver.
But what does i have to do now???
