I am trying to make my MN-520 to work but to no avail. Maybe someone can help and post a "how to step by step" in setting-up or configuring wireless connection.
I have been trying to set it up by reading posts and such, but it is sometimes frustrating that mine is not working. One thing I noticed is that on system stats, netcard driver is unknown but card is detected. Please help. Thanks.

This Mircosoft branded card should work with the ndiswrapper GUI.
This very card was used to create and test ndiswrapper when first deployed in DSL v0.8.2

Thanks for replying, roberts.

I've read about other users having success with using this card, one person even mentioned that it worked for him out of the box. Maybe you can give me a link on how to setup my wireless access properly or if you don't mind doing a little tutorial on setting up wireless cards.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have this card but after reviewing some more history on this, it would appear that the prism2 gui should work. Note that entering your wep key requires embedded colons, e.g.,  xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:...
This should be the easiest approach.

Awesome. I am writing this using wireless access.

I read that somewhere, having the colons, but somehow overlooked on my part.

Thanks again. Now to my sound problem.

I also have this card and cannot get it to work. When I boot it (live cd) it gives me the error "Ignoring unknown interface wlan0". Any help I've searched and it's no help.
