Hey guys just wondering if anyone can offer some help or prehaps suggest a different dialer program that works with DSL or point me in the direction of how to write the old style connect/disconnect scripts. Finally got my project of DSL on compact flash to work, just a slight problem trying to connect to the net. Using a winmodem which seems to work fine..can manually give it commands using minicom.. but when i try to connect using the the DSL dialer the commands seem to get '^m' in them which seems to cause problems. chat sends ATZ and the modem replies with OK^m, then chat sends ATDT****^m^m and the modem only dials half the number. Like i said works fine in minicom and i can dial fine..so prehaps if i could remember how to write my own chatscript and dialup scripts for pppd i might be able to get it to work. Any help would be much appreciated as this is really annoying me ![]() Thanks in advance, Clive Posted by mikshaw on Sep. 16 2006,13:31
It looks like your files were written or edited on a Windows machine.Try converting them to unix:
