Networksettings lost after rebootForum: Networking Topic: Networksettings lost after reboot started by: sparks61 Posted by sparks61 on Sep. 18 2006,11:52
Hi,I have installed DSL on a 2GB Flashdisk via HDD-Adapter into a thinclient. Every time I start this thinClient or reboot it, the Network-Settings are set back to default. Then I have to run 'netcardconfig' again to set the LAN-Adapter to my networkenvirement. How do I save constantly my dedicated network-settings? peace, sparks61 Posted by ^thehatsrule^ on Sep. 18 2006,13:10

Using bootlocal.sh is still the same concept though - I just happened to have that thread open while reading this.Startup commands are similar, just change the wifi and wlanX parts to whatever standard you use (probably ethX). Here's probably exactly what you were looking for though: < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki....ings.3F > |
