Problem with wireless lan usb stick after bootingForum: Networking Topic: Problem with wireless lan usb stick after booting started by: PMP161316 Posted by PMP161316 on Jan. 07 2007,12:55
Hello,I think DSL is a very good OS for older computers, so I installed it to my laptop. I have a USB WLan Adapter (Siemens Gigaset USB Adapter 54) I used Ndiswrapper for installing the Windows driver then I executed "modprobe ndiswrapper" and set up the IP and Gateway and I was able to connect to the internet. All was fine and the internet was working, but then I rebooted and all settings had gone. modprobe says the alias directive is already in the modprobe config, but the system can not find the wlan0. I would be very glad if someone could help me with this problem. Bye, PMP161316 Posted by ^thehatsrule^ on Jan. 07 2007,20:20
Add the commands to /opt/bootlocal.shIf you use the gui to configure your network card, you can backup /opt/mynis.sh (sp?) then add that to /opt/bootlocal.sh Posted by PMP161316 on Jan. 09 2007,21:11
