Hello,

I think DSL is a very good OS for older computers, so I installed it to my laptop. I have a USB WLan Adapter (Siemens Gigaset USB Adapter 54) I used Ndiswrapper for installing the Windows driver then I executed "modprobe ndiswrapper" and set up the IP and Gateway and I was able to connect to the internet. All was fine and the internet was working, but then I rebooted and all settings had gone. modprobe says the alias directive is already in the modprobe config, but the system can not find the wlan0.

I would be very glad if someone could help me with this problem.

Bye,

Add the commands to /opt/bootlocal.sh

If you use the gui to configure your network card, you can backup /opt/mynis.sh (sp?) then add that to /opt/bootlocal.sh

Thanks very much.

This solved my problem and W-Lan is working without problems.
