Greetings,
In little old England you can browse all day for for one pound, on Orange.

I want to try 3G,
AT$NWRAT=2,2 AT+CGDCONT=3 ATD*99***3#

Anyway, in DSL
I modprobe usbserial CDCEther acm

Then,
/usr/sbin/pppd connect '/usr/sbin/chat -v "" "AT&F" OK "AT+CGDCONT=1,\"IP\",\"ORANGEINTERNET\"" OK "ATDT*99#"' /dev/ttyACM0 115200 noauth defaultroute noipdefault user ppp usepeerdns crtscts

If I do this in Sarge (2.4 &2.6 I think?) bingo, I'm on the net, but no joy in DSL.

Please, any comments, Best Regards, Andyp.

P.s.,
I plug in the Motorola C975 brick, after modprobe, before I pppd.

I've just tried the above with a Motorola C390, in Sarge 2.4.

Watching tail -f /var/log/messages,
I have to plug the phone in and out numerous times, before it 'takes' and shows up as ttyACM0.

I'm definately no expert by a long shot at computing, but I'm inclined to think acm.o buggy? cdc_acm in 2.6 okay.
