ok so i installed DSL on a P150 lol just for fun
i got Samba linneighbourhood running and can see windows machines and take files but i cant see the linux machine in network neighbourhood on windows xp pro,
and i have searched for the answer but nothing i tryed worked

I think you need to start and configure the smb daemon (smbd).
