I´ve got an old Laptop 450mHz, it works great with dsl.
Only thing is if I try to load a higher version than dsl.2.1 it won't load the pcmcia driver.
Can i get an old module to work on a 3.2 hd-installation?
Or how can i get it to work on a newer dsl?

Thanks for your help...

2.1 used a newer kernel... so it might be related to that.

What hardware device(s) and driver(s) are we talking about?
Or are you talking about the pcmcia_cs (or w/e) driver itself?
Any errors?
What's the output of lsmod?

So sorry, haven't got a lot of time but I'll get back soon...
So far, without having my Lappy beside, I can tell you that there is a problem with the pcmcia_cs driver itself. Cause when i boot with a higher dsl-version than 2.1 i get no response in boot screen.
When with 2.1 it says something like "pcmcia card found" and "starting card manager".
So in higher versions i can't get any dmsg or lsmod from pcmcia.
(Which i will make certain at least tomorrow... :-))

cheers for your reply...
