Well, Im a pretty newb to Linux in general, just trying to get things to work.

I have a SMC WCB-G PCMCIA card: < http://www.smc.com/index.c....id=1445 >

From NDISwrapper:
Card: SMC SMCWCB-G EZ Connect g WLAN Cardbus Adapter
Chipset: Atheros
usbid: 168c:001a
Driver: as supplied with the card with ndiswrapper, also works with native (linux) ath_pci driver, with WEP (tested in Xubuntu 6.06, no lights)
Other: Fedora Core4 2.6.12 with the 12K stack mod ndiswrapper 1.6

I have done the NDIS wrapper route, and I still have no success. I really dont know where to go, and I was hoping I could get some help from you guys. Let me know if you need to know anything else.

Try the native drivers first? (usually better result anyways)

ath_pci is the native driver correct? If so, it is already loading with DSL, and when I go "lsmod" in ATerminal, it says that the module is loaded, but then in the "Used By" colum, it says unused.

I also removed the drivers that I had loaded with NDISwrapper.

I tried it again, and now, it is working, (I didnt try sudo pump -i ath0) ever before, so the only problem that was screwing me up, was that I wasnt running as root.

Thanks for the help.
