VNC client cursor displays as very small square box instead of the arrow as seen on the DSL desktop.

Running:
DSL 3.4 current iso on pc1
xp sp2 on pc2

vnc4x / vnc4x0 server  via mydsl on pc1
vnc-4_1_2-x86_win32_viewer.exe on window pc2

Started the vnc server via icon on dsl desktop.
Connected over LAN connection to windows pc client. The remote desktop looks and works great. However the remote cursor displays as very small square box. The windows xp cursor displays as the usual arrow when outside the remote desktop window. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Never mind, I discovered the standard vnc client uses a square with a dot in it cursor by design. However "tightvnc" viewer allows the user to optionally select the arrow icon as the cursor. Works great with the vnc server.
