I am trying to get a Belkin F5D1070 802.11g working. I did a hard drive install and can use a 3com EtherLink III pcmcia no problem.

However, I put in the Belkin disk and run
ndiswrapper -i /cdrom/Drivers/bcmw15.inf
and then
ndiswrapper -l
I get
bcwm15 hardware present

But, when I run
modprobe ndiswrapper
the os locks up.
The powrer LED comes on on the Belkin card, but nothing else and I have to POR to get the system back.

Any ideas?

hi, i've a similiar problem like u
i have a Belkin F5D7000 (802.11g) with a broadcom chipset 4306)
when i load my bcmwl5.inf driver with ndiswrapper everything is ok

i check and driver is installed and my card is detected
  $ndiswrapper -l

  $Installed ndis drivers
  $bcmw15 hardware present

and when i do modprobe ndiswrapper, i need also to reset my computer.:-(

in the forum of ndiswrapper i founded similar problems with the belkin cards and the version 10 of ndiswrapper

< Forum of ndiswrapper. >

it seems that changing to an older version works fine with this driver,
i'll try it.
i hope that can help u, or at least where find more information

Try using a different .inf driver...maybe for win98 instead of 2000/XP?
