Monkey and password protect

Hi everyone.
I'm not sure it Monkey supports it or not but.
I tried to password protect a web page using .htaccess and .htpasswd and it did not work.
Does Monkey support this feature?
Is there a setting I can change to activate it?
Is there another way to password protect it other than javascript?

Anyone working on an apache extension?
