Hello all!

    I can get dsl to find network card but can't resovle names.
When i ping in root shell i can send packets but can't receive any. This problem only occurs while running LiveCd version. Internet works fine but slowly durring Embeded run.
Any indeas?

Sounds like you have an incorrect or missing DNS server for your  ppoe connection.

Try booting into windows and then look at your Digital Subscriber Line network settings, particularly the DNS IP address.

Then see if you can enter it into the network setup for your Damn Small Linux system.

I found and fixed the problem! It was the DHCP lease from my isp I had to
do ( ipconfig /release ) in winXP. Then I booted dsl and the internet was up and runnin'. BroadBand problem solved!!!!

       Now I have to figure out how to get it runing on my toshiba satellite
2545CDS laptop w/ LinkSys 10/100 PCMCIA card it Hangs on boot w/
the card in, And hang w/ card inserted after bootup.
