My ethernet PCMCIA card is not detected by DSL.
(But it is found by Windows, Mandrake 8.1 and even by old muLinux)

Card: D-Link DE-660 Series Ethernet PC Card

I am not even sure that PCMCIA is detected:
/proc/pci says: PCMCIA bridge found
but /proc/bus is empty

Any help ?
TIA.

Supposedly the DE-660 does work in knoppix, and DSL is based on knoppix.

So my guess is that your pcmcia controller is not working correctly.

Thank you for your reply.

My old notebook is multiboot:
Win95
Mandrake 8.1
muLinux

My DE-660 card works in these 3 OS.
So I think that my pcmcia controller is working correctly.

I have drivers for Win95, Win2000 and Linux.
What can I do now ?
TIA for your help.

Daniel

Let me rephrase my statement:

Your PCMCIA card manager is not working correctly while running  the DSL distribution.

Your best bet is to Google your computer model number and the word "KNOPPIX" for help.

DSL is based on KNOPPIX, so if there is a solution it may also work for DSL as well.
