I need to use dialup (Sorry, some of us still don't have access to DSL or Cable) and it seems that my laptop modem isn't natively supported by DSL. I got a:

Code Sample
XIRCOM RBM56G-100 (ethernet and modem combo)

No worries cuz a linux driver is available at < pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net >.

HOWEVER, you have to actually compile the driver and here's where I get stuck:
1. I downloaded and installed gcc from the myDSL repository at ibilio.org.
2. But the driver install script wants "cc" not "gcc".

Where can I get "cc"? Any way to get around this? Anyone know where I can get the pre-compiled binaries for my modem?

FYI - I'm a linux newbie

Thanks!!
